Kara Ciezki
After completing her Bachelor of Music at The University of Melbourne, Kara continued her studies in the USA at the New England Conservatory of Music,
where she gained her Master of Music Degree in Historical and Contemporary
Performance on Recorder. Kara has won major music competitions in both Australia and the USA and is the founder and music director of the international group The Pipistrelli Ensemble.

She also performs with various groups in Melbourne and regulary performs and conducts workshops in festivals around Australia and overseas. Kara has a vast range of knowledge and expertise in the music field, including specialist work in recorder maintenance and repairs and regulary teaches recorder, flute and music theory.
