Trio Classico

The Trio Classico (Stefan Fahrni, piano/ Urs Walker, violin/ Regula Häusler Menges, cello) was founded in the second half of the eighties in Zurich.

The trio dedicated its work mainly to classical and romantic repertoire but also in contemporary music from the beginning. Trio Classico commissoned David Joseph to write a piano trio which was given the title The Afternoon. Urs Walker commented on the piece: 'I just love the floating charm of the Interlude ... somehow lazy, partly quite busy, never hurried.
